The Ruggery Building, also known as 22 East Gay Street, is an 8-story 30,000 square
foot office building in downtown Columbus. Constructed in 1895 as a fire-proof
office tower, the Romanesque style building features limestone base columns, a
boldly arcaded brick exterior and a detailed projecting cornice at the roof line.
The building's restoration included all new mechanical systems, new windows and
roof and distinctive architectural features.
